Weight, urine sample, etc. was about it. I had no clue when I scheduled, but since it is New Year’s Eve, we did not get an ultrasound at all. The tech was off today. We did get scheduled to go back Thursday after work for one, but the doctor said (I have thought this and had this fear all along), that the tech usually cannot pick up the sex on his old machine until around 26 weeks. UGH. So, we will most likely not even know on Thursday either. We did schedule my level II. It is not until Jan 24. So maybe then we will know. Then my next appt is Jan 28 with the OB.

Also, on Thurs. I will give blood for a Down’s and Neural tube screening. I decided to do it since I do have 2 relatives with Down’s.

I got measured for the first time. I am 18w5d today, and measuring 22 weeks. The babies hb’s were about 148 and 132, but they moved around so much and she was counting by her watch, so that is probably not totally accurate.

So, no real news to share today. Oh well, maybe next time!

as you can see by my loud post down below, I am 17 weeks today. hee hee I have been doing real good, and feeling good, just sooooo sleepy for the most part. I don’t remember if I posted or not, but I did have another us at 14 weeks and all was well. My next is on Dec 31, and hopefully we can see what these little buggers are! I can’t wait.

I have been feeling some movement I think, I am still not completely convinced. Hee hee. But almost pretty sure.

But I am getting BH’s. They just started a few days ago, and they are something.

I can’t believe that I have still only gained 5 lbs. That worries me a bit, but the babies did measure ok at the last ultrasound and other twin mom’s told me not to worry that it is ok and will catch up with me.

Work has been kicking my butt, to say the least, but I am doing ok. Just busy as heck and a bit stressed.

I just got yelled at for reaching over my head and I went off. There was a cool show on a couple of weeks ago called Pregnancy for Dummies (yep, like the book) and they ran through the 10 most common old wives tales. It was so cool. I wish I could make the world watch that.

I am sooo happy. I don’t know if I had told many about her, but she and her DH had been trying for a while. I had been giving her little hints, etc. She was pretty mixed up when it came to ttc. I had planned on giving her my TCOYF, and some other info so they could get busy. Well, at Thanksgiving dinner, her DH annouced that they are pg!! I screamed my head off. LOL

What sucks was that there were 2 of us there with video cameras and they did not warn us so that we would have them rolling at the time. UGH.. But it was great anyway.

Now I can’t wait to share! She will be due in about July or Aug. Still waiting on her first appt.

and it was great. The doc felt my belly and talked about how I was “getting big” and popping out. A new belly pic should be coming tomorrow.He also listened to the hb’s and I am pretty sure I heard the babes try to move away when he did it. Then we got another ultrasound. It is sooooo amazing how much they grew since the last us 3 weeks ago. they are taking up most of the space in the sac now, so it was hard to make out stuff. I did clearly see the spine, head and little leg bones. He measured all of that. I’ll have those pics posted tomorrow also. They were both moving around a little bit moving there little legs, etc. and the ultrasound tech commented on ones little cute butt. hee hee

My next appt is 12/31. They will give me another us then (says I will get one every time) and at that appt. we schedule my level II. I can’t wait.
