The boys got their first haircuts a couple of days ago. They were NOT happy about it. But they are sooooo cute! I do miss their soft little afros a bit though.

Kristopher really, really was not happy about the situation. He got all hot and sweaty. But it was pretty warm in my brother in laws house anyway. We had to let him take a couple of breaks and take some of his clothes off and let him go outside for some air! He didn’t even want his beloved paci at the time. Poor baby! He was putting his hands up to his head like “what did you do to me?”
Jayden was a little less dramatic. He fussed, but no tears came down. He just whined and whined. And he was very sleepy at the time.

During and afterwards, they both kept looking at me like “how could you let

this happen?” But after getting used to it and looking in the mirror, I think they realized that they are cute stuff!
We got some great pictures of those pretty smiles afterward.

I hope that they get used to this because there will be many, many more to come!

We had a fun filled weekend. It’s been in the 90s here so on Saturday and Sunday, we let the kids play outside in the water for a while. Even Little Jayden loved the water. He did not want to fully go in, but he stuck his hands in and splashed around.

Kristopher wanted nothing to do with the water! I took him near and he started to cry. He spent the whole time sitting on a blanket on the grass just looking around.

For Father’s Day, we got Daddy cards, and we went to church. After church we went to a couple of stores, and got a small pool for the kids. Well, ok.. maybe it’s not so small, but they like it a lot. Eddie’s Dad came over for a bit which the kids loved.

Overall it was a good weekend.

This has just really broken my heart. Listen, if you are a nut and you go crazy and lose your mind and decide to kill yourself, then go and kill yourself, DO NOT take anyone else with you. Leave the family out of it, and in the name of God, LEAVE THE CHILDREN ALONE!!!

How and why can someone shoot children??? Babies!!! This fool killed twin infants, and wounded a toddler. I just really don’t understand why things like this keep happening.

My baby boys are 13 months old today.  How can it be 13 months already??? They will soon be transitioning to the toddler class at their daycare where they will start to learn to do big boy things. I am very nervous about that, but I know they are smart and they can do it.

When you have children, especially twins, you marvel from day to day at what they accomplish and how they interact. It’s so amazing and so cute. Kristopher can actually say Jayden’s name. It comes out like “Ayden”, but it’s very clear. They chase each other around, and laugh and laugh! And they love their sisters. I love this stage, the stage of exploration and learning. And I’m so glad that it’s finally summer so that we can get out and do some fun things.

I’ll be glad when Kristopher starts walking. I think it will be soon, but for now, he is still crawling.

I moved one of my web hosts to another server (my own account), and I totally forgot that I actually had a couple of my mysql databases that were in use hosted there. The photo gallery on this account was one of them. Luckily there was not much in there at all. So, I am recreating it. i am also moving the family photos from my tech site to over here because I think it fits better here now.

Hopefully these things will be fixed today.
